PERLITE FOR THERMAL INSULATION

The average annual heat loss from the walls of buildings is 35%, 15% from the floor, 25% from doors and windows, and 25% from the roof. Warming walls, floors and ceilings is of paramount importance.

Traditional materials used in construction (brick, concrete,wood etc.) are capable of reliably preventing heat losses in the house, only when the walls are very thick.

In order for the walls to be thinner, but not to the detriment of the indoor climate, it is necessary to use heat-insulating materials based on expanded perlite.

Lightweight (30-250 kg / m3), non-combustible, porous expanded perlite is today used for thermal insulation of buildings, structures and equipment. Expanded perlite works at temperatures of -250 – + 900 ° C. With the help of expanded perlite, they solve the problems of fire protection, acoustic insulation, heat insulation; It is used as fillers in lightweight concrete, finishing materials, dry mixes and paints.

The use of thermal insulation materials based on expanded perlite in construction reduces the weight of structures, reduces the need for other building materials (concrete, brick etc.), reduces fuel consumption for heating buildings, and reduces heat loss in industrial units. Also, perlite insulation is a very effective way to reduce C02 in the atmosphere and the so-called greenhouse effect, as proved by research.

APPLICATION OF THERMAL INSULATING MATERIALS BASED ON EXPANDED PERLITE IN CONSTRUCTION GIVES THE FOLLOWING ADVANTAGES:

Reduces up to 60% heat loss from walls;
Provides optimal temperature conditions;
Protects wall structures;
Construction is protected from the effects of climate;
The humidity of the walls decreases, which leads to a corresponding increase in the thermal resistance of the walls and stops the process of its destruction.
